The treble, mid and bass EQ on the XP-2016 operate above 4kHz, between 300Hz and 4kHz and below 300Hz respectively, each with a range of +6dB to full-kill. The crossfader assign switch can send the channel to either A or B on the crossfader or POST, which sends the signal directly to the output.
The XP-2016 crossfader uses Rane’s proprietary ‘active crossfader’ design and has a dedicated ‘contour’ control which allows you to select the curve type. There is also two 10-segment meters, one for cue level (PFL) and one for peak program metering (PGM).
The Rane XP-2016 connects to the MP-2016 via the included 26-pin ribbon cable, through with it draws all its I/O.
